Department Summary:
The Counselor Education Department at Bridgewater State University offers high-quality, CACREP -accredited graduate programs that prepare students for professional counseling roles in a variety of settings. The Department currently has 4 full-time faculty and a full-time Director of Fieldwork serving two CACREP programs (Mental Health and School Counseling). The overall goal of the program is to prepare ethical, evidence-based, and socially just counselors who are equipped to serve diverse populations in schools, mental health agencies, higher education, and other community settings, with a strong commitment to advocacy, cultural humility, and professional excellence. We have recently completed the CACREP review process and have received 8 years of accreditation. We offer excellent faculty mentorship, small class sizes, and a collaborative community. We are proud that our graduates are highly prepared for licensure exams (100% pass rate in 2024-2025) and employment in schools, agencies, higher education, and beyond.

Essential Duties:
The Department of Counselor Education invites applications for a full-time, in-person, tenure track teaching position to begin Fall 2026.
